Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Corporate Counsel to support North America consumer technology and marketing initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
Support business leaders as lead counsel on product decisions
Provide day-to-day customer-focused advice and legal support to business and tech teams.
Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative efficient and business-centric ways
Counsel on regulatory matters
Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries
- 5 years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Experience advising on technology privacy or both

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
