Job Description
Job Summary
The Associate Epic Radiant Analyst will be focused on the Epic Radiant module and supporting imaging and radiology be responsible for configuring optimizing and maintaining the system ensuring seamless integration with other imaging systems and providing training and troubleshooting for end-users.
Essential Functions
- Under general supervision assists in the planning design testing implementation support and analysis of programs and software.
- Learns how to identify current operating procedures for departmental changes.
- Helps define system requirements and identify programming and/or application functional requirements.
- Based upon technical and procedural information assists in developing system specifications and programming guidelines.
- Supports the documentation of application changes for program development and corrections.
Qualifications
Required
- Associates Degree or equivalent in a related field
- Holds an understanding of both Epic software and radiology operations
- Willing to obtain Epic Radiant certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a related field
- Experience in systems development lifecycle including requirements gathering and design
- Background in a health care sciences or information systems
