Job Description

Were seeking a new BCBA for our Life Skills Autism Academy!

LSAA is a division of Centria Autism where we are leading experts in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our clinicians develop individualized programs for each of our clients targeting the goals of the client and family. Here we focus our compassionate assent-based techniques towards Early Intervention. LSAA is an ABA program for children ages 6 and younger.

  • Center hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Location: 13615 N. 35th Avenue Phoenix AZ 85029 (Suite #8-12)
  • Base Salary: $85000 - $90000 per year (varies based on specific experience education skills and tenure as a BCBA)
  • Bonus Incentive Weekly & Monthly! Average Total Bonus Earnings Per Year > $8000-$12000

A Supervising Clinician at Centria is somebody who not only believes in the core clinical values we hold as an organization but also respects the values of our clients. The Supervising Clinician will oversee ABA Therapy and provide guidance & support to our Behavior Technicians to ensure services are meeting our high clinical standards and achieving positive clinical outcomes for clients & their families.

Our Expectations

  • Provide clinical oversight to clientele to drive compliance and retention to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Train manage and retain a team of Behavior Technicians
  • Engage parents in ABA therapy to improve client outcomes by delivering 1 hour of parent engagement per month to all clients
  • Develop child-specific behavior plans following the principles of ABA therapy
  • Leading and maintaining staff by orienting and training team members
  • Ensuring the daily functions of the team are completed by communicating job expectations; planning monitoring and appraising job results
  • Managing coaching and developing a high-performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results added value and continuous improvements

What youll bring to the table:

  • Masters degree or higher from an accredited university in acceptance with BACB guidelines
  • Completed of 8-hour supervision course or willing to complete within first 30 days of employment
  • BCBA certification from the BACB in good standing
  • Active state license in good standing when applicable
  • 1 years working with children and autism spectrum disorders
  • Previous supervision experience is preferred
  • Crisis management experience is preferred

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job the team member may be exposed to a client who exhibits physically aggressive behavior which can include kicking pinching punching biting etc. The team member may have to use appropriate behavior management techniques with a client under such circumstances. Such a response requires agility quick reflexes and the ability to use physically evasive movement. The team member will be required to stand walk sit grasp reach bend kneel crouch squat hear type and write. The team member will also be exposed to normal office conditions and usual office equipment such as phone computer copiers files etc. The team member must be able to independently push pull lift move and carry objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near far and field of vision.
