The Boeing Company is looking for highly motivated Senior Product Development Estimating Analyst to join our Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Product Development Estimating and Financial Modeling team in Everett Washington.

On our team you will be part of developing and delivering better faster and more efficient products for customers around the globe by harnessing the breadth depth and innovation of the worlds largest aerospace company and the strengths of its commercial business.

New team members will work on airplane and production system development including cost model development for use in decision making business case and financial modeling analysis in support of product development studies collection and analysis of data in support of Engineering and Strategy teams and collaboration with cross functional partners on configuration studies to achieve the best possible cost and quality outcomes.

Position responsibilities:

• Develops unique/highly complex financial analyses and models

• Consults and oversees the evaluation and development of advanced business cases

• Oversees the development of high value estimates from highly complex or unique technical requirements through the design build and support stages of the program

• Oversees development and application of product strategies using innovative computational techniques

• Oversees high complexity/value business proposals evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal substantiates estimates and pricing and assembles price proposals

• Oversees development of unique/complex estimating and pricing methods

• Devises long term data analytics strategy while performing complex analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk financial competitive etc.)

• Oversees database requirement efforts and identifies new sources of data

• Consults on the development/application/maintenance of rates and factors for estimating pricing and proposals

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience in a Finance Accounting Business or related role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher

• Experience developing cost models for Engineering or Finance use; has crafted cost models as part of an Engineering or Finance team

• Experience performing economic analysis in support of engineering the way we make decisions (e.g. trade studies cases for technical and strategic options)

• Experience working with cost and quality data in support of economic analysis
