Key Accountabilities:

• Supervise company drivers and activities related to dispatching routing and tracking transportation vehicles.
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper issues.
• Collaborate with managers/staff members and customer to formulate and implement policies procedures goals and objectives.
• Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with government regulations administrative policies and procedures safety rules and Lean program.
• Obtain Freight rates for inside sales comparison.
• Arrange trucks for delivery to customers.
• Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits attending company safety meetings and meeting with individual staff members.
• Maintain CTPAT and ISO certifications.
• This is a position that works directly on or around motor vehicle equipment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma required; bachelors degree or some college in pursuit of same is preferred.
• 1-2 years previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
• 3-5 years prior experience in the transportation industry.
• Solid knowledge of government regulations within the trucking industry.
• Strong time management and coordination skills verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking/problem resolution ability.
• Safety Mindset.

Job Compensation

$60000 to 75000
