Job Description
Excavator Operator
Plant City FL
Full-Time / Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Plant City FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently to perform excavation and grading tasks on various job sites.
Key Responsibilities:-
Operate excavators to perform grading and excavation in a safe efficient and productive manner.

Perform daily equipment inspections including checking fluid levels and monitoring gauges.

Monitor and maintain equipment functionality throughout the workday.

Make minor mechanical adjustments or assist mechanics with repairs.

Identify and avoid potential hazards including utility lines other equipment workers and falling objects.

Complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Flexible schedule with availability to work days nights or weekends as needed.

Valid Florida drivers license and ability to meet company Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.

Must pass drug screening and background check.
