Job Description
Our client is one of the largest contract manufacturers in New Zealand who exportquality components to over 40 countries.
We are seeking a skilled SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Operator to join the Dynamix team and contribute to our Clients success.
Our candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment ensuring a high level of quality and contributing to the efficient production of electronic products
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate SMT equipment.
- Set up and operate selective solder machine.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections on assembled boards.
- Collaborate with SMT team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety rules.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry experience a must.
- Previous experience with SMT equipment and processes preferred.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610 J-STD-001) is highly desirable.
