Job Description

Our client is one of the largest contract manufacturers in New Zealand who exportquality components to over 40 countries.

We are seeking a skilled SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Operator to join the Dynamix team and contribute to our Clients success.

Our candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment ensuring a high level of quality and contributing to the efficient production of electronic products

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate SMT equipment.
  • Set up and operate selective solder machine.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections on assembled boards.
  • Collaborate with SMT team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety rules.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry experience a must.
  • Previous experience with SMT equipment and processes preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610 J-STD-001) is highly desirable.
