A fast-growing climate-tech startup is developing a hardware plugin that injects hydrogen into shipping container ship engines boosting energy efficiency by 30. It s a major sustainability initiative with strong ROI and they re ready to hire now.
Lead firmware and control systems development for hydrogen injection in combustion engines.
Create real-time control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink and generate C code.
Integrate and configure ECUs sensors and actuators.
Debug communication via CAN J1939 LIN FlexRay and Ethernet.
Calibrate ECU parameters in real-time with tools like ETAS INCA or CANape.
Collaborate closely with combustion engineers for seamless hardware-software integration.
5 years in control systems development.
3 years working with engines fuel injection systems or turbine systems.
Bachelor s in Mechanical Electrical or Control Systems Engineering.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink Embedded Coder ECUs microcontrollers and RTOS.
Strong debugging integration and calibration skills.
Experience with diesel engines 2- and 4-stroke).
Background in maritime or automotive embedded systems.
Knowledge of hydrogen fuel systems or hybrid technology.
