Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree and 8 years Associate and 9 years High School diploma/GED and 10 years or Masters and 3 years relevant work experience.
- Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification (Securityce or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in administering and troubleshooting VMware vSphere infrastructure.
- Skilled in managing VMware ESXi across multiple versions including 6.7 6.5 6.x 5.5 5.x and 4.1.
- Hands-on experience with vCenter Server for centralized virtualization management.
- Well-versed in deploying and supporting VMware Horizon environments (versions 7 6.1 6.01 5.3).
- Proven ability to work with VMware vSAN including Proof of Concept environments for version 6.5.
- Experienced in supporting enterprise-grade HP DL and Blade server platforms including M1000e C3000 and C7000.
- Knowledgeable in enterprise storage solutions such as EMC FC VNX2e NFS and NetApp NAS.
- Applied strong networking expertise in Cisco network design and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in administering Windows Server operating systems (2016 and 2019) and workstation environments (Windows 10 and 11).
- Capable of managing Linux systems with solid administration and troubleshooting skills.

Job Duties:
- Administer and maintain virtual desktop environments using VMware Horizon
- Support and optimize VMware vSphere infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively
- Collaborate with network storage and security teams to ensure high system availability
- Implement system upgrades patches and configuration changes as required
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements
