The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records receiving incoming shipments assisting in order fulfillment and providing basic customer support related to inventory and order status. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and a high level of customer satisfaction through timely accurate service.
Duties/Responsibilities.
Receiving & Inventory Control:
o Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
o Record received items in the inventory system and report damages or discrepancies
o Organize and label inventory for proper storage and accessibility
o Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
Order Fulfillment:
o Pull and prepare customer or production orders based on pick lists
o Ensure accuracy quality and timely preparation of outgoing orders
o Package and label items for shipping or delivery
o Assist with staging orders for pickup or transport
Customer Support:
o Respond to internal and external customer inquiries about inventory availability order status or delivery timelines
o Coordinate with sales customer service and shipping teams to resolve order or inventory-related issues
o Assist with processing returns exchanges and adjustments in the inventory system
o Provide clear professional communication via phone email or in-person
General Warehouse Support:
o Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment
o Ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions
o Follow all safety policies and company procedures
Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products
Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company s standards
Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business
Reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft such as too little inventory at last count
Implementing loss prevention programs to prevent theft
Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Required:
High School Diploma/GED required associates in business inventory or other related field is preferred.
Two (2) or more years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing/walking in warehouse environment.
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.

High School Diploma/GED required, associates in business, inventory or other related field is preferred. Two (2) or more years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
