Job Description

The CS Inventory Assistant is a key member of the CS Spare Parts team. He/she must follow a strategic plan which aims at achieving objectives in terms of delivery lead times repair quality and performance as well as costs. To do so he/she supports the management of the spare parts flow in order to meet the needs of internal (repair workshops boutiques) and external (e.g. retailers) clients. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participation in the reception of suppliers shipments
  • Verify delivery documents
  • Verify the general condition of spare parts and packaging
  • Check delivered quantities

Inventory management 

  • Support managers interactions with APMK (delivery returns & follow-up participation in Logistics projects)
  • Manage inventories of spare parts
  • Prepare picking lists (repairs and orders)
  • Receive suppliers shipments
  • Plan and execute cycle counting
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure accuracy of data within ERP update part data as necessary. 

Continuous improvement 

  • Participate to the continuous improvement of product quality (Quality Alarm proposition of improvement etc.) as well as of work environment (Spirale projects etc.)
  • Guarantee application of Groups Best Practices

Qualifications :

  • 2 years experience in a warehouse environment and inventory control systems
  • Experience with operational and logistics handling in a warehouse facility
  • Previous MRP parameters experience a plus
  • Ability to work cross functionally across departments and in a team environment
  • Multi-tasker with detail-oriented skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as needed with strong time-management skills
