As a Claims Consultant within our Group space you will manage life insurance claims from start to finish providing a seamless experience for our customers.
In this role you will:
- A key focus of this role involves providing a best-in-class customer and client (e.g. advisers trustees fund administrators) experience including regular communication in relation to the status of claims and managing expectations to deliver on quality health and claim outcomes.
- Independently managing a portfolio of Retail Income Protection insurance claims end-to-end
- Assess analyse calculate and finalise claims payments
- Active engagement of external treating doctors rehabilitation consultants as well as in house medical and legal specialists and delivering timely outcomes for our customer
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with our philosophy policy and claims procedures
- Participate in case conferences peer case discussions and instructing third party service providers
Qualifications :
- Life insurance claims management experience within Group policy - IP and/or TPD claims experience is ideal OR;
- Workers Compensation or Return to Work claims management experience with an Allied Health background
- Strong analytical problem-solving & time-management skills
- Excellent communication & empathy to support customers during challenging times.
- Solid understanding of injuries ilnesses and tratement
