To have a confident and comprehensive knowledge of various styles of food service.
To assist and support the operation and delivery of large-scale banquets to deliver service and supervising team members on shift.
Provide welcoming and high-quality hospitality and customer service at all times serving a wide range of internal and external customers meeting dietary requirements and adhering to Coventry Building Society Arenas excellent standards.
Supervise and assist in setting and clearing all catering aspects of rooms and event spaces.
Assist with the organising of refreshments for conferences events and matchdays around the Arena when required to do so.
Actively problem solve any issues that may arise on shift and use initiative to work with other departmental managers to resolve issues and maintain excellent customer service.
To ensure complete customer satisfaction on shift.
Actively work with other departments to ensure that guests have the best experience possible
To be responsible for the management of all staff working in your area ensuring they are briefed and trained and that you develop and coach them throughout the shift.
To ensure that all company policy and procedure is followed including health & safety hygiene legislation and employment law.
To support team members during service including taking serving over taking orders and table service.
To deal with any customer feedback or complaints and report any service or quality issues.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team and use own initiative to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.
To take an active role in developing and training our frontline teams to ensure product knowledge and customer service is at the forefront.
To be fully confident in all company systems and procedures at the CBS Arena
