Bridges and Structures BIM Modeler

We are currently recruiting a BIM Modeler to join our expanding structural department. 

In AECOM you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.  You will be working on a wide range of projects including bridges viaducts earth retaining structures cut and cover tunnels underground structures culverts and building structures. The role offers the opportunity to work across all the stages from concept to preliminary and detailed designs.

Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years throughout the USA Australia Canada and Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic transportation projects being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for a BIM Modeler that wants to boost his/her professional career on structural modeling.

Here is what you will do:

• Develop Building Information Modelling (BIM) models for the discipline of structures associated with transport infrastructures (bridges viaducts cut and cover tunnels buildings etc) typically from LOD 200 to LOD350.
• Ensure that models are aligned with the standards and goals set in the BIM Execution plan.
• Create and develop structural BIM content.
• Drawing production including reinforcement drawings structural steel details etc.
• Work in a team-based environment that involves coordination with colleagues based in different offices.
• Model audit for quality assurance following the QAQC procedure.
• Perform the responsibilities under limited supervision.

Qualifications :

Heres what were looking for:

• Experience developing BIM Models and working on drawing production (3 years) for the discipline of structures associated to transport infrastructures.
• Excellent knowledge of modelling and drawing using Autodesk Revit.
• Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360).
• Knowledge of BIM technologies processes requirements and standards.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Experience working for clients in the USA Canada and Australia will be considered favorable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
• Certificated BIM education or proven experience in BIM projects in the field of civil/structural engineering works.
