Job Description
Forbes Health is looking for an associate staff writer with a background in digital content creation writing reporting and SEO best practices. The ideal candidate should have an interest in a range of health topics and the ability to break complex topics down in a digestible way.
At Forbes Health we want to guide our readers to make smart informed health decisions through best-ofs product reviews engaging content both on- and off-site and data-driven journalism. In this role youll be responsible for delivering 3-5 pieces of well-researched and well-written health content per week working within the Forbes Health editorial team.

Responsibilities:
- Write helpful accurate and engaging how-tos roundups best-ofs product reviews and product comparisons
- Consistently write and publish high-performing content that drives traffic and engagement and update stories with timely information as needed
- Brainstorm and generate story ideas and coordinate with your editors and producers to bring them to life
- Work collaboratively with fellow writers and editorial leadership to ensure output meets Forbes Healths quality standards reporting to a Lead Editor
- Willingness to appear in video content a plus
Requirements:
- A portfolio that displays your writing proficiency and ability to tell compelling stories
- Ability to turn complex health topics into easily digestible snippets
- Creative vision that aligns with Forbes Healths editorial tone voice and vision
- Experience with SEO best practices preferred
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Nimble and open to quick changes in strategy
- Ability to work in a startup environment
