You will support HR activities to create a great work environment at the store. You will help implement people initiatives provide co-worker support and drive HR excellence and continuous process improvement.
Your assignment
- Promote IKEAs culture through upholding and modelling IKEAs values in all HR activities creating a positive and inclusive workplace.
- Assist in recruitment efforts by supporting the hiring process and new hire onboarding including issuing employee items and coordinating onboarding sessions.
- Provide support to learning and development activities including onboarding and training sessions.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities HR improvement projects and new initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support including preparing HR documentation maintaining personnel files.
- Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Your profile
- You are studying or hold a qualification in Human Resources Management.
- You have good interpersonal skills and confidently interact with people at all levels including managing conflict.
- You are proactive and take initiative in your tasks and responsibilities.
- You are a committed team player and can also work independently.
- You demonstrate high integrity and attention to detail in your work.
- You can support HR operations during weekends and public holidays as needed.
- You are able to assist with business operations during peak periods.
