Working to protect the states environment and heritage.
As part of the Adaptation Impact and Risk Science (AIRS) team the Principal Scientist will contribute to a dynamic multidisciplinary group known for its expertise in integrated research strategic program coordination and knowledge brokering. The AIRS team plays a key role in delivering science and insights to government partners and advancing the NSW Climate Change Adaptation Strategy.
The Principal Scientist Integration leads and mentors a team of 4 scientists ensuring the delivery of high-quality research and fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous professional development. You will play a critical role in shaping the teams approach to climate adaptation research while leveraging your strong scientific background and proven leadership abilities. A track record of academic publishing and cross-sector collaboration will be crucial as you work to influence decision-making and develop practical policy-driven solutions that make a real-world impact.

You are a strategic results-oriented scientist with extensive experience in applied climate change adaptation research. You have a strong academic publishing record and a proven ability to broker science collaborating with government and research partners to deliver policy-relevant solutions.

Who we are
