Job Description

Situated on the highest point in Brisbanes Central Business District Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane is a 4.5 star hotel attracting both business and leisure travellers. The Hotel boasts an engaging blend of contemporary design modern amenities and gracious hospitality dedicated to the perfect guest experience.
We are currently recruiting for a number of Food & Beverage roles including Restaurant morning shifts sets and banquet positions.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Has a friendly and outgoing disposition
  • Good time management
  • Proven team member and can also work autonomously
  • Keep guest and service areas clean and tidy as per procedures
  • Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service
  • Take responsibility for your designated section and station
  • Maintain currency of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles

To be successful in this role you must be:

  • Must have previous hospitality experience
  • Able to work across evenings from 5pm approx 20 hours per week.
  • Reliable and dedicated
  • It is imperative to hold a current RSA certificate and Food Safety Certificate
  • You maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Have excellent communication skills and demonstrate an enthusiastic and welcoming attitude
  • Must have good physical fitness and be able to lift and carry various items.
