Monitor andoptimizewastewater treatment unit processes (liquids solids/biosolids air emissions energy recovery reclaimed water etc.) and overall plant operations to ensure regulatory compliance and tooptimizefinal product quality (effluent biosolids air emissions)and operation (cost-effectiveness).
Assistin troubleshooting unit processes and associated equipment operation monitoring systems and controls.
Conduct research and evaluation of special studies and projects tooptimizeplant processes to ensure maximum performance and cost-effective operation asdeterminedby the supervisor or senior staff.
Make basic projections of chemical and energy use in plant processes and general plant operations for current and future conditions.
Prepare and/or review technical reports project proposals and progress reports as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
