Description/Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. including overtime as needed. Must be able to work 12-hour night shift during harvest.
Job Summary: Supervise the operation and employees. Conducts inspections of equipment to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly and housekeeping is adequately maintained. Monitors and confirms accurate documentation of production maintenance and sanitation procedures according to food safety and quality assurance guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
- Must possess basic math skills - * /.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with no citations in the last 12 months.
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Must be able to read speak write and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 200 ft.
- Must be willing and able to bend stoop twist turn push and pull throughout the day.
- Must be willing and able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be willing and trainable to use dust protection equipment.
- Must be willing and able to be trained to grade sample and transfer rice.
- Must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time. (Heat cold humidity rain etc.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
Preferred Experience
- Maintenance experience including welding cutting and equipment repair.
- Leadership abilities delegation conflict management problem solving and confidentially.
- Supervisory experience.
- Industrial equipment operator experience. (bobcat forklift etc.
