Overview
The TGT English (Trained Graduate Teacher) plays a pivotal role in shaping the language skills and literary appreciation of students at the intermediate level. This position is essential for fostering a passion for literature honing writing skills and developing critical thinking abilities among students. The TGT English must be proficient in creating engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and the diverse needs of students. As a pivotal figure in the classroom the TGT English is responsible for providing a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for the English language. Through various teaching strategies including interactive discussions group activities and assessments the TGT English aids in the comprehensive development of each student. Collaboration with fellow staff members parents and the community is also a key aspect of this role ensuring that students receive holistic support in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards for English.
- Assess students understanding and progress through various evaluation methods.
- Implement differentiated instruction to cater to students individual learning needs.
- Facilitate engaging class discussions and encourage student participation.
- Incorporate multimedia tools and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Support students in developing their writing reading and analytical skills.
- Maintain an organized and disciplined classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.

- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate English with other subjects.

- Address and resolve student behavioral issues effectively.
- Encourage a love for reading by recommending literature to students.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in English Education or related field.
- Teaching certification for TGT English.
- Proven experience in teaching English language and literature.
- Strong command of English language and grammar.
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Knowledge of child development and educational psychology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with students parents and colleagues.
