Job Description

Job Summary

Our client a leading player in the real estate sector is looking to engage a results-driven Construction Procurement Officer to join their growing team in Enugu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of construction materials and services while ensuring supplier compliance with quality sustainability and cost standards.

This is a key role that requires a proactive professional with a strong ethical compass excellent negotiation skills and a sound understanding of construction procurement processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the identification and selection of reliable suppliers and contractors in alignment with ethical and sustainable procurement standards.
  • Develop and maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) to monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to assess procurement needs material specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Manage the full procurement cycle including purchase planning order placement vendor relationship management and performance tracking.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services to support ongoing construction projects.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Procurement Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3 5 years of relevant experience in a procurement role preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor sourcing negotiations and performance evaluation.
  • High level of integrity and adherence to ethical procurement standards.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and procurement-related software solutions.
