As Software Engineer for Charging Units you will develop and integrate basic software components and thus strengthen our team which is organized according to agile methods.
Your area of responsibility also includes the improvement and further development of processes methods and tools within BSW development and capability for application developers to integrate their functions efficiently. You will have close contact and interfaces with the teams and departments of Functional Architecture Functional Development HW Development SW Integration and the different test teams.
- You design and develop basic software components and integrate them into the software architecture of control devices
- You create developer and regression tests for your base software components and carry them out before integration
- You document the developed basic software components in Gitlab as well as in the Client development database and release the components for the following unit test
- You are the contact person for issues (new requirements or errors) for the function developers the architects the HW developers CI/CD and the downstream test levels.
- You work on the continuous development of processes methods and tools to increase quality efficiency and enjoyment of work
- The challenge of the next few years is to expand the teams competence from a largely signal-based architecture to an efficient service-oriented ECU architecture (e.g. from AUTOSAR to adaptive AUTOSAR)
Qualifications :
- Professional experience in the field of electronic control unit (ECU) development
- Expert knowledge in at least one of the following areas: microcontroller architecture (e.g. multi-core) real-time operating systems high-performance computing platforms service-oriented architectures operating system in the automotive environment (e.g. AUTOSAR OS C-OS QNX Linux Android Auto) Basic software components or driver development
- Knowledge in charging protocols is an advantage
- Expert knowledge in C/C
- Knowledge of dealing with bus systems and networks such as CAN LIN Ethernet
- Experience in classic/adaptive AUTOSAR is desirable
- Knowledge of dealing with the ISO 26262 standard and corresponding development processes (V model) is an advantage
- Experience in continuous integration (Jenkins Docker etc.) an advantage
- Reliable and precise working methods
- Openness to new challenges
- You speak German and English fluently
