Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving change through continuous improvement change management and standards Join our dynamic Freight business as the Head of Planning and Continuous Improvement where youll lead enterprise-wide Continuous improvement culture whilst improving capability and driving initiatives that enhance our end-to-end performance and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the broader Freight Leadership Team with a view to ensuring our Global Change portfolio and associated trade-offs are understood across FLT appropriate prioritisation and planning for tactical priorities as well as ensuring our assurance outcomes are met and that we consistently meet our regulatory obligations. Youll play a key role in championing a culture of continuous improvement across Freight and drive scalable and efficient standards across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead long-term Change Management strategy and planning
Support the Freight Leadership Team in the embedding of Freight Process Excellence (FPX) to drive a Continuous Improvement culture
Develop and maintain Freights Continuous Improvement Roadmap.
Responsible for the development and improvement of overall standards that support our business
Lead WSI Program streams across Standards Compliance and Continuous Improvement
Build a high-performing team culture that fosters innovation and collaboration.
What Youll Bring:
Extensive experience in continuous improvement culture change and strategy execution within large and complex environments.
History in designing and driving process architecture frameworks across highly regulated Business Units
Driving Change Management strategy and capability across Qantas Freight
Expertise and understanding of Assurance and Compliance programs
Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
Background in logistics supply chain transport or aviation highly regarded.
Ability to identify improvement opportunities and lead change in a fast-paced evolving business.
