Overview of the Role:
Join our clients revolutionary approach to clinical nutrition at a state-of-the-art acute care facility! This is a unique opportunity to lead a comprehensive nutrition program where Registered Dietitians have order writing privileges allowing you to practice at the top of your scope while making a direct impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete clinical nutrition program for a multi-specialty hospital
Supervise and develop a team of 4 Dietitians and 5 Diet Clerks across inpatient and outpatient services
Provide direct patient care approximately 20% of the time
Collaborate on meal service program implementation and menu management systems
Foster a culture of learning and professional development
Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management initiatives
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain standards of care
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Masters degree with ACEND-required coursework and supervised practice
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials
Minimum 3 years acute care clinical experience
At least 13 months management/supervisory experience
Experience with regulatory accreditation and standards establishment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
