Job Description
Summary:
Our client is seeking a Sales Manager - Domestic 3PL Freight to join their team! This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader ready to drive growth in a fast-paced domestic freight environment. You will lead and expand a motivated sales team shape strategic initiatives and collaborate closely with executive leadership to help scale the business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a sales team from 10 to 20 representatives focused on domestic freight services
- Develop implement and oversee strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives
- Provide coaching training and performance management to maximize team revenue and development
- Collaborate directly with the CEO to ensure sales goals support the overall business strategy
- Analyze sales data and pipeline metrics to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Travel as necessary to support sales teams and client relationships across multiple regions
Required Qualifications:
- Proven success in domestic freight sales with strong knowledge of transportation and logistics
- At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership managing high-performing teams
- Ability to build scalable sales processes while fostering a strong sales culture
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Willing to travel up to 20% as required
