About the Role:

As a Director of Business Development at Wunderkind youll join our team of consultative experts that manage grow and extend our partnerships with the top media and publishing companies in the world. You will be part of an elite sales organization at Wunderkind and will learn the best-in-class sales blueprint the company has developed over the past eight years. Its imperative that you have previously demonstrated stellar performance as a seller within high-growth SaaScompanies ideally selling to publisher clients. You will report directly to the Executive Director ofPublisher Sales.

As our Director Of Business Development youll engage with the most reputable mediacompanies in the world to help them grow their revenues and thrive. You are an adeptsalesperson capable of engaging in thought-provoking conversations at multiple levels of theorganization including the C-Suite. You are capable of initiating these conversations and drivingpartnerships to conclusion. You know the buyers mentality and can lead a multi-party sale in ahighly consultative manner.

Responsibilities

  • Identify negotiate and close deals with medium to large size publishers media and holding companies
  • Uncover pain points and key decision makers/stakeholders within the publishers organization
  • Communicate the capabilities of Wunderkind technology presenting solutions in a consultative manner
  • Manage entire sales process from start to close including working with various internal teams and engaging necessary resources in order to move the deal forward
  • Foster collaborative relationships both internally and externally

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years sales experience selling an enterprise SaaS solution to Publishers and Media companies
  • Understanding of the MEDPICC sales methodology is a plus
  • Experience closing deals that required significant education and a big internal shift in the clients thinking and behavior
  • Proven success in managing executive-level relationships with clients or partners
  • Empathetic and persuasive; a strong mix of emotional intelligence and business savvy
  • Ability to tackle projects with little direct input or oversight; work with uncertainty and manage through many priorities and opportunities at once

The base salary range for this role is $100000 to $115000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set depth of experience applicable certifications and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
