The Job
As a Kitchen Porter you will work across all our kitchen areas carrying out plate wash duties as well as general kitchen cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean all kitchen equipment pots etc to ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained.
- Clean kitchen as laid down in the daily and weekly cleaning schedules to include surfaces floors working surfaces ovens etc.
- Ensure all waste and food bins are emptied regularly throughout the day.
- On a rota basis clean the Staff Canteen twice daily and as requested.
- Work with colleagues to reduce energy costs and consumable waste.
- Assist in any other duties as required.
