Corwell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977 it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy a surgical pavilion a pain management clinic orthopedic surgery inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring Fixed MRI including pacemaker cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).
Scope of Work:
In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team provides therapeutic services including evaluation treatment and education. The Senior OT works closely with the Supervisor and Clerical Coordinator of the area to achieve the highest level of performance for the staff and compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency requirements. Evaluation and treatment of patients. Assists the Supervisor to monitor staff competence clinical performance organize clinic in-services and support staff education. Assists the Supervisor with hiring orienting delegating and organizing the work of co-workers and staff. Monitors treatment cost and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency. Monitors productivity on a continuous basis. Assists with PI projects. Directly monitors and supports the clinics technical aide coverage and activities. Demonstrate knowledge of growth/development/dynamics behavior of various age group population and is able to perform assessments/treatments appropriately

A. Education / Training:
Graduate from an approved OT school.
Master degree preferred.
B. Work Experience:
At least 2 years of clinical experience with a varied patient population.
C. Certification Licensure Registration:
License in the state of Michigan is required.
BLS Certification required.
