Compliance Manager (Gas)

Working 36.5 hours per week
This position is to support the Senior Compliance Manager in driving the Councils success in meeting its statutory health and safety obligations as a responsibly landlord whilst continuously striving to improve the safety of its residents properties compliance and stock condition.
As a leader of a small professional team delivering a technical gas safety service your role will be pivotal in providing specialist knowledge and support to stakeholders and senior management with assurance that gas and other related installations equipment and services within its residential stock is being effectively managed.
You will be expected to ensure and assure robust programs and plans are in place to achieve statutory compliance with effective monitoring and management of your team and specialist contractors. These programmes and plans will be based on accurate stock data and information with key performance indicators tailored to deliver results for all parties.
This position plays a crucial role in delivery of service and maintenance of gas installations associated assets equipment systems and the assigning and management of remedial tasks and recommendations. These programmes require quality data and evidence to support all related activities and an acceptable level of demonstrable compliance and safety.
Your role will be to keep the Council at the forefront of industry standards by delivering a high-quality asset management service and contributing to a culture of trust by creating a working environment that is supportive and high performing.
