The Company
GPA Accounts & Business Advisors is a progressive CPA accounting tax and strategic advisory firm supporting SMEs and individuals across a range of industries.
This is not a typical accounting firm. GPA takes a modern and proactive approach delivering high-quality and personalised advice tailored to each client. As the firm continues to grow GPA is seeking an experienced and motivated Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join its dynamic team.
About The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with two senior accountants and gain immediate exposure to client files. The role provides a diverse mix of tax compliance business advisory and general accounting responsibilities.
- Prepare income tax returns and financial statements for companies trusts partnerships and individuals
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies as required
- Support senior accountants in preparing advice and solutions for clients
- Contribute to the firm s high standards of client service and technical excellence
A Successful Candidate:
- Degree-qualified in accounting or a related business field - CPA beneficial but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in tax accounting
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach
