Job Description
Our client a reputable company in the Nigerian Oil and Gas sector is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management with a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in an accounting role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations
- Prepare financial statements budgets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards
- Ensure timely and accurate tax computations and remittances (VAT PAYE WHT etc.)
- Coordinate audits and liaise with internal and external auditors
- Ensure compliance with all financial policies procedures and reporting requirements
- Maintain and update financial records and documentation
Requirements
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA)
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
