Insurer

Perform minor review of post-closing loan documents and final audit of specific file documentation as necessary for successful insuring of loans. Ensures all files requested by Investors (VA/HUD) are photocopied and delivered as required in a timely manner. The duties for insurer include but are not limited to those described below.

• Complete insuring of loans to meet government agency due dates.
• Handles telephone and email communications from investors to obtain resolution of specific pre-insuring issues.
• Stacks documents and photocopies as required for branch retention and for delivery to central government offices.
• Assists as directed with timely follow-up and clearance of issues relating to PLR or Special Asset loans.
• Ensures that good business practices are promoted in a courteous effective efficient and timely manner.
• Coordinates and cures insuring deficiencies.

• Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technologically proficient in MS windows software.
• Able to interface effectively with all other departments investors etc.
• Able to work effectively during peak periods under time constraints and under pressure and to work overtime when necessary.

Experience:

• Entry Level Position.
• Mortgage industry experience preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
