Prepares structures and facilitates TEAM meetings to achieve a consensus. Understands and communicates to the TEAM the eligibility guidelines and categories of impairment the difference between IDEA and 504 eligibility and the difference between accommodations and modifications. Guides the TEAM to formulate an Individualized Educational Program (IEP) which provides access to the general curriculum and assists in the development of measurable goals and benchmarks. Uses the data presented at the Annual TEAM meeting to generate the next lEP.
