Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Hospital Select Medical

Position: Quality Coordinator (RN)
Location: 1199 Pleasant Valley Way West Orange NJ 07052
Schedule: Full-Time 9AM - 5PM (Monday - Friday)

Compensation: $45-60.56/Hour (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Management (DQM) with all aspects of the hospital Quality Program. The Quality Coordinators responsibilities may include data collection/input analysis and reporting for risk management quality improvement survey readiness infection control employee health and education.

  • Assists with all assigned activities to assure the facility maintains accreditation cretification and licensure.
  • Assists with implementation of the Hospital Quality Plan.
  • Assists with preparationof quarterly quality meetings.
  • Assists with survey readiness and root cause analyses.
  • Assists in implementation of new and revised policies/procedures.
  • Assists with medical staff quality improvement activities including ongoing and focused professional practice evaluations.
  • Assists the DQM with data entry into various electronic databases.
  • Assists withimplementation of the infection control plan and reporting as required.
  • Participates in employee training and education.
  • Assist with employee health activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid professional NJ RN License required.

Preferred qualifications

  • 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred.
  • Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement risk management infection control or survey readiness).
  • Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards including TJC and CARF preferred.
