The Complex Care and Recovery Program is seeking two (2) casual Research Analysts to assist with multiple ongoing research to the Principal Investigator and the Research Manager in the Schizophrenia Division your duties will include supporting the coordination implementation and monitoring of research projects. Administrative duties will include research activities such as organizing and maintaining study and regulatory documents reviewing scientific literature and conducting comprehensive literature reviews assisting with the preparation and submission of research ethics board (REB) protocols and subject recruitment. The candidate will maintain contact with non CAMH partners and program participants. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the design conduct and facilitation of a research program. You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. This position is located at the 1051 Queen Street West but travel to other community clinics and sites may be required.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelors of Science degree in global health or related field and have one (1) year of relevant research or clinical experience particularly working with individuals with mental health issues including psychotic disorders. Knowledge and proficiency in PC software skills including Microsoft Office and internet search engines is required. Experience in the administration of clinical rating scales and neurocognitive assessments (SCID-5 YMRS MADRS BPRS MATRICS SCoRS) is required. Experience in the use of electroretinogram (ERG) devices (Espion Utas Reteval) is an asset. You are detail oriented well-organized and possess a strong technical aptitude. Experience in the recruitment and screening of human subjects data collective techniques quantitative and/or qualitative research methodology is required. You will have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; and function well within a cooperative collaborative working environment. You have the ability for self-directed learning/working; while working concurrently on multiple projects. The successful candidate will have experience maintaining large databases. Candidates must be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism (English/French) and/or proficiency in another language is considered an asset.
