Credit & Collections Team Lead
Location: Ankeny IA
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Credit & Collections Team Lead to join our team! The Credit & Collections Team Lead is responsible for the investigations and analysis of credit information working within established guidelines. This position works under general supervision reporting to a Collections Supervisor.

What you will be doing:
- Training new employees and providing support to all employees as needed
- Coaching including both constructive and positive feedback in a tactful firm manner
- Ability to prioritize make credit release decisions following procedures as stated in The Linde Way handle escalation calls with difficult customers and bring to a resolution that acknowledges customer needs yet serves Lindes best interests
- Resolves moderately complex credit problems but may request assistance on highly sensitive accounts
- Make some decisions regarding credit extension within predetermined guidelines
- Contacts customers regarding delinquent payments and assists in the collection of past due accounts
- Assists Supervisor in the coaching and development of Collectors
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Partner with Collections Supervisor to increase team efficiency and productivity
What makes you great:
- HS diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated success leading a team of employees
- 3 years Credit & Collections experience
- Handling inbound calls in a fast-paced environment
- Computer experience in Word and Excel
- Customer service skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Working successfully in a team environment
