Job Description
Key job responsibilities
This Corporate Counsel will support AWSs public sector sales teams by negotiating drafting and advising on a wide range of procurement technology licensing and compliance matters involving Federal Government customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with Federal Government procurement authorities such as the FAR and DFARS and be familiar with government contracts dispute resolution processes before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) the Court of Federal Claims (COFC) and various Boards of Contract Appeals. This position will also assist with contract compliance issues.
The successful candidate must be inquisitive enthusiastic about technology enjoy working hard and being continually challenged and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
- 5 years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Knowledge of federal acquisition and fiscal law including experience applying and interpreting the FAR DFARS and supporting government wide acquisition vehicles.
- -Top Secret Security Clearance
- -Experience with technology licensing agreements
