Software Developer (DevSecOps-GITLab and Azure)

i3 is seeking a driven Software Developer and DevSecOps leader to support a cloud based application. This position will help spearhead the development of an interoperable medical system using emerging technologies and hybrid cloud solutions. You will work with a highly motivated team of software developers and operations engineers to solve technical challenges and facilitate medical advancements in patient care for the entire U.S. Army Medical community.

• Design develop and maintain Android and Windows applications using modern development practices.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate and enhance Android applications with ATAK components ensuring seamless functionality.
• Set up configure and manage GitLab pipelines to automate build deployment and continuous integration processes.
• Write clean efficient and well-documented code to maintain high standards of quality performance and security.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate gRPC APIs and web services into applications to extend functionality and improve user experiences.
• Identify and resolve software bugs and issues in existing applications to maintain their reliability.
• Continuously optimize app performance responsiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality bug-free software.
• Stay up to date with the latest GitLab Azure Docker and NET Core trends tools and technologies and share knowledge with the team.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience with Azure and Gitlab pipelines is required.
• Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in Android App or NET MAUI Development preferred
• Experience developing ATAK applications and plug-ins preferred
• Experience using Agile Methodologies preferred
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at various levels of understanding
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
