Software Developer (MES) (f/m/d)

A Day in the Life

• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with a focus on Siemens Camstar and Opcenter Execution Core
• Conduct requirements gathering and business analysis to determine the needs of our internal clients
• Implement and customize software solutions using and C#
• Manage and configure Windows-based systems and IIS (Internet Information Services)
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects
• Document and test software solutions to ensure quality and functionality

Keys to Success

• A degree in Computer Science Software Development or a related field
• Several years of experience in developing and maintaining MES systems
• Proficient with Visual Studio and development (VB C# )
• Databases/SQL: Oracle MSSQL
• Experience with Windows-based systems and IIS
• Web Development (JavaScript ideally Angular and TypeScript)
• Strong skills in requirements gathering and business analysis
• Proficient in English and German language

Desireable Skills and Experience

• Experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar environment preferably with Siemens Camstar and Opcenter Execution Core
• Agile development: Scrum Atlassian Jira
• Source control: Git / GitHub
• CI/CD: Atlassian Bamboo or Jenkins
• Cloud: AWS
• Reporting: PowerBI
