As a Senior Data Engineer at Cohesity you will partner with multi-functional teams on ad-hoc analyses and provide strategic support to the executive team. Your work will have a direct impact on our success and help shape our future.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and resourceful individual who seeks to tell the story of the data with little direction or supervisionThe purpose of this role is to develop and implement technical solutions to ingestdatafrom disparate source systems intodatalake/Cloud baseddatawarehouse solutions and further transform thedatato be consumed by downstream applicationsprimarilyfor CorporateAnalyticalreporting.
HOW YOULL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
oEstablish and maintainDatapipelines(Real time and Batch).
oDevelop and maintain code forDataingestion/Datatransformations.
oValidate and perform Testing.
oPerform migration/production release.
oProvide documentation for the deliverables.
oAble to work in an agile based environment.
oAble to finetune and make modifications to the code to improve performance.
oEstablish coredatamanagement principles and best practices
oLead initiatives and projects across multiplefunctional areas.
oProvide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
oEnhance theDataPlatform and introduce automation wherever possible by adhering to standards.
WED LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
oBachelors degree in a technical field e.g Computer Science
oAt least 5-6 yrs inData-warehouse/analytics/databases/Pipelines.
oAt least 5 yrs in a fast-paced environment.
oExperience inSnowflakeCloudDataWarehouse Solution
oExperience in SQL.
oExperience in ETL/ELT tools. (Matillion ETL tool preferred).
oExperience working onDataModeling and preferablyDataVault 2.0 method.
oExperience in linux.
oExperience in working with APIs.
oExperience in github or gitlab for code maintenance.
oStrong communication skills.
oStrong technical knowledge to build efficient technical solutions.
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors including a candidates skills qualifications and experience location and salary expectations and therefore a starting salary at the low end high end or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation commission (if in a sales function) and/or equity grants. Additionally full-time employees are eligible to participate in ourcomprehensive benefits framework including health and wellness benefits vacation paid holidays and refresh days 401(k) retirement plan life and disability insurance coverages and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
Pay Range :
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
