Job Description
Position Title: Budget Analyst I-IV
Reports To: Program Manager
Clearance Type: Secret (all levels)
Work Location: National Capital Region
Estimated Start Date: On contract award
Job Description:
Advantage SCI is accepting applications to support a Department of Justice law enforcement task force program.
Summary of duties include but not limited to:
Assists with fiscal program management support to include:
planning and preparing budget submissions and descriptions;
performing regular financial and program analysis
developing routine and ad hoc financial and program reports
providing status of program funds;
preparing financial and other reporting
Performs daily on-site fiscal management and oversight to ensure that project expenditures are correctly obligated as described in the interagency agreement and are within proper policy guidelines regulations and contractual obligations.
Experience and Skills
Required Qualifications:
Education/years of experience
Level I: Bachelors degree or four (4) years experience
Level II: Bachelors degree and two (2) years experience
Level III: Bachelors degree and six (6) years experience or Masters degree and four (4) years experience
Level IV: Bachelors degree and eight (8) years experience or Masters degree and six (6) years experience
Active SECRET security clearance (all levels)
Knowledge of and experience with applying federal budget formulation practices.
Ability and experience in conducting financial and program analysis.
Ability and experience in tracking expenditures.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to compile complex reports.
Working Conditions:
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Able to stoop kneel bend at the waist and reach
Able to sit stand walk run
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
