Description
Iona University seeks applications for the position of Head Club Mens Soccer Coach. Reporting to the Director of Club Sports. The Head Club Mens Soccer Coach is responsible for all aspects of the club program as well as being committed to the academic mission of the College. The Head Club Mens Soccer Coach teaches the sport of soccer to student-athletes and provides for coaching recruitment and retention of esports players.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be knowledgeable of and abide by all Universityand campus policies league policies campus recreational policies and conference/league requirements.
- Plan organize and lead the operations for the club sport program including coaching fundraising budgeting and travel arrangements.
- Travel with and supervise team at home and away games to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- It is important for the Head Club Mens Soccer Coach to have a background in the sport with a minimum bachelors degree.
- They must grasp the current mens soccer strategies and techniques.
- Posses a valid drivers license
