Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst I
Location: Tennessee Local Candidates Only
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in the last 2 years
Education: Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) required
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst I will analyze and document business requirements and processes related to public sector service delivery across one or more State agencies. The role includes formulating solutions supporting system implementation and ensuring compliance with the State of Tennessees IT architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and document business requirements and workflows for State programs
-
Formulate alternative business and technical solutions including process reengineering
-
Support application development lifecycle: from requirement gathering to implementation
-
Facilitate user training and support system rollouts
-
Conduct cost-benefit analyses using State CBA methodology
-
Develop data models and process diagrams as needed
-
Assist with system installation data conversion testing and ongoing maintenance
-
Prepare and document special studies related to systems and processes
-
Lead requirement gathering and solution definition workshops
-
Communicate effectively across all levels of agency staff
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 2 years of recent business analysis experience

Strong organizational communication and facilitation skills

Experience with data and process modeling
-
Understanding of modern IT systems: multi-tier computing EDI intranet/internet services imaging data warehousing GIS
-
Ability to integrate solutions across varied environments
