Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Programmer Analyst to design develop and enhance enterprise-level document management and workflow solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with FileNet APIs workflow development using Business Process Manager and strong programming skills in Java and .NET environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements creating and refining ECM applications and delivering effective and efficient solutions that meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop ECM applications using IBM FileNet APIs including:
P8
Capture Desktop
Web Services
Java and .NET interfaces
Analyze functional business requirements and design specifications to develop and implement ECM solutions
Build and refine workflow applications using FileNet Business Process Manager and eForms
Test debug and optimize applications to ensure reliability performance and usability
Prepare detailed documentation for both internal development teams and end users
Enhance software functionality to reduce processing time and improve operational efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts project managers and infrastructure staff to ensure successful deployment and support
Troubleshoot system issues and perform ongoing application maintenance and updates
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ECM development or similar programmer analyst role
Development expertise with FileNet P8 API sets Capture Desktop and Web Services
Proficient in Java and .NET programming
Hands-on experience with FileNet Business Process Manager and eForms
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
Understanding of distributed systems databases and communication protocols
Strong debugging testing and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage development tasks within project timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
Experience in public-sector or enterprise content management environments
Familiarity with version control systems DevOps pipelines and integration techniques
