Job Description
Location: Remote (Canada only)
Type: 6 months
Experience Required: 10 years
We are seeking a proactive detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact initiatives within a dynamic fully remote environment. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle - from initiation and planning through to execution and post-delivery evaluation - ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time within scope and on budget. This role requires strong leadership stakeholder management and the ability to operate in a fast-paced distributed team setting.
Key Responsibilities-
Define project scope goals and deliverables in alignment with business objectives

Develop comprehensive project plans timelines resource plans and communication strategies

Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution

Lead project meetings and proactively communicate progress risks and issues to stakeholders

Manage budgets track expenditures and recommend changes as needed

Identify and manage dependencies risks and critical paths

Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables with precision

Adjust project scope schedules and resources as needed in response to evolving business needs

Conduct project retrospectives and post-mortems; document lessons learned and process improvements

Ensure adherence to internal project management methodologies and best practices

Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Project Management or a related field

10 years of progressive experience in project management (preferably in IT Financial Services or Software Development)

Proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional projects in a remote work environment

Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira Confluence Trello Asana MS Project

Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Highly organized self-motivated and adaptable to change

PMP PMI-ACP or SAFe certification

Experience in Agile Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies

Familiarity with budget forecasting and vendor management

Experience in banking insurance or financial technology industries
