Position Summary:
Seeking a Retail Customer Category Analytics and Insights Manager to support its Retail Channel team. This role will play a critical part in leveraging data and analytics to drive business insights improve promotional effectiveness and support strategic decision-making across key retail channels. The position is hybrid offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work. There is a possibility that this role could transition into a full-time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- POS & Data Management:
Manage point-of-sale (POS) data and other internal datasets to support retail strategy and operations. - Promotional ROI Analysis:
Conduct promotional return on investment (ROI) analysis and create presentations to communicate key findings. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as a key liaison between the Retail Analytics team and internal BI data teams to ensure seamless data access and sharing. - TPM Data Input:
Upload and manage Trade Promotion Management (TPM) POS data inputs to support ongoing promotional evaluation. - Insight Generation:
Provide data and insights to inform business recommendations for retail processes including eCommerce and omnichannel strategies. - Dashboard Management:
Maintain and improve Ecomm and Omni-channel dashboards to ensure timely accurate and actionable data delivery. - Advanced Insight Mining:
Analyze and extract insights from third-party data sources such as Numerator Kantar Packaged Facts and Cleveland Research. Support storytelling and customer-facing presentations by understanding shopper behaviors and preferences. - Stakeholder Management:
Coordinate with various internal teams including Sales Marketing and Insights & Analytics (I&A) to align data needs and analytical support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- 5 8 years of relevant experience in retail analytics data insights or category management
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Proficient in working with data tools dashboards and market research sources
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
