Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong Business Analyst skills to lead Agile delivery initiatives for our client. This hybrid role is critical in guiding high-performing teams while also engaging with stakeholders to define refine and translate business needs into actionable product backlog items. You will enable successful of digital products and transformation programs in the clean energy and smart grid space ensuring alignment with both Agile best practices and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams developing digital solutions for energy optimization and grid modernization.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to elicit analyze and document business requirements and translate them into well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with development teams to clarify feature scope and ensure shared understanding of business goals.
- Identify and eliminate impediments to the teams progress while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure delivery alignment with Source Energys compliance quality and timeline expectations.
- Communicate project status risks and updates to stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.
- Promote a culture of trust accountability and transparency across teams and departments.
Required Skills:
- 4 6 years of experience in Agile project delivery including at least 3 years as a dedicated Scrum Master.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Proven ability to lead Agile teams manage cross-functional stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business or a related field.
- Prior experience in the energy utilities tech IT domains (e.g. smart grids DERs IoT for energy enterprise software development).
- Experience in coordinating multiple Scrum teams.
- Background in vendor-client collaboration external stakeholder management or consulting.
