Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Scrum Master/Prorgram Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background exceptional communication and leadership abilities and a proven track record of driving Agile practices within large-scale enterprise-level digital transformation efforts-especially platform modernization. This role is critical in guiding Agile teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams facilitating all standard Scrum ceremonies and ensuring Agile principles are followed.

  • Partner with Product Owners Architects and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and delivery of technology modernization goals.

  • Drive continuous improvement in team processes performance and Agile maturity.

  • Identify and resolve impediments that hinder team progress and escalate when appropriate.

  • Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile best practices to foster a high-performing Agile culture.

  • Support enterprise-level Agile transformation efforts and help scale Agile frameworks where necessary.

  • Provide transparency into project status team health and delivery metrics using tools like Jira Confluence and others.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architecture APIs CI/CD cloud platforms and related technical topics.

  • Proven success managing Agile teams in large-scale enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

  • Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe etc.).

  • Exceptional communication facilitation and leadership skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple domains.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent experience in the financial services industry.

  • Previous experience working at Fidelity Investments (FMR) with positive references.

  • Familiarity with the BFSI sector including companies like Charles Schwab Capital One Vanguard or Morgan Stanley.

  • Experience with major platform modernization projects or legacy-to-cloud transitions.

Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field; advanced degree a plus.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent Agile certifications.
