Scrum Master Lead

Client is seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master Lead to guide Agile teams through complex high-impact initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned Agile practitioner with a strong background in banking finance or investment environments and hands-on experience with Azure Jira Confluence ServiceNow and advanced Microsoft Office tools. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader who fosters high-performing teams removes impediments and drives continuous improvement in alignment with SAFe principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Agile values and SAFe principles coaching teams on Lean-Agile practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and PI planning.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure backlog clarity alignment with business goals and delivery of high-value features.
- Remove team impediments and shield the team from external disruptions to maintain focus and velocity.
- Represent the team in Scrum of Scrums (SoS) and cross-functional coordination efforts.
- Track and report on team progress using Jira Confluence and Microsoft 365 dashboards.
- Support the integration of technology roadmaps with business strategies ensuring sustainable and scalable delivery.
- Drive improvements in team performance quality and delivery predictability.
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to the Agile community of practice.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 15 years of project management experience including leadership of Agile teams in complex environments.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master Product Owner or Product Manager in Agile/Scrum settings.
- Strong background in finance banking or investment domains.
- Proficiency with Jira Confluence ServiceNow and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Teams etc.).
- Experience in cloud environments particularly Azure and tools like Databricks.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum SAFe LeSS) and project delivery methodologies.
- Strong facilitation conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CSM PMP PMI-ACP SAFe or LeSS.
- Experience with budgeting accounting operations and process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards in financial services.
- Advanced degree in Information Systems Computer Science Engineering or related field.
